I voted both winter and summer only because winter
“Fasting in the winter is the easy reward.” [Sunan At-Tirmidhī]
And the nights are longer to facilitate qiyaam if you’re given tawfeeq.
However summer for me is way better, the days are so long, and you can be so productive whilst the sun is still out and you don’t feel tired, I find I seek way more knowledge in summer as the days are longer and more productive…

Summary of Al-Ameer As-San’āni's treatise [https://t.me/madrasatuna/5594] ⬇️
Know that differences in the wording of the Prophetic ḥadīths are undeniable and they may be categorised as follows:
First case: Multiple Companions narrated the same REPEATED EVENT differently.

Shaykh Bakr holds the view that the ḥadīth originates from a single source in the narrations of both Muslim and Abū Dāwūd, and therefore the word “between” (bayna) in Muslim’s narration should be understood in light of the word “under” (taḥta) in Abū Dāwūd’s narration.
However, in response, it may said:
1⃣. Does the word bayna in Arabic carry the meaning of taḥta (“under”)?
2⃣. Sahih Muslim is generally…
Shaykh Bakr Abu Zayd (may Allāh have mercy on him) said in “There Is Nothing New in the Rulings of Prayer” (p. 49):
The newly proposed practical application of the ḥadīth of ʿAbdullāh ibn Az-Zubayr:
The newly proposed practical application of the ḥadīth of ʿAbdullāh ibn Az-Zubayr (may Allāh be pleased with them both), who said:

Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn (may Allāh have mercy on him) was asked in Liqāʾ Al-Bāb Al-Maftūḥ:
“When does a person praying sit in the posture of tawarruk during the prayer, and in which prayers?”
He replied:
“Tawarruk is performed in the final tashahhud of every prayer that contains two tashahhuds; that is, the last rakʿah of Maghrib, the last rakʿah of ʿIshāʾ, the last rakʿah of ʿAṣr, and the last rakʿah of Dhuhr. As…

Since the time of An-Nawawi, rahimahullah, scholars and students have compiled collections of forty hadiths on various topics. I’ve set myself a similar goal—not with hadiths, but with unusual benefit
These pictures show handcrafted wooden knives created by a student in Yemen...May Allāh bless his business
He recently advertised these images in one of the groups, and another student ḥafidhahullāh benefited us with the following:
«الخشبية فرقة من الشيعة يرون الخروج على من خالفهم بالخشب.
وذكر شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية في كتابه "منهاج السنة النبوية" أنهم لُقبوا بذلك "لقولهم: إنا لا نقاتل بالسيف إلاّ مع إمام معصوم،…
Is It Wrong to Consider a Spouse’s Ability to Help Care for My Elderly Mother When Marrying?
On the authority of Jābir ibn ʿAbdillāh (may Allāh be pleased with him and his father), who said:
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to me, “Have you married?”
I replied, “Yes.”
He said, “A virgin or a previously married woman?”
I replied, “Rather, a previously married woman.”
He said, “Why not a young girl whom you could…

This address was delivered to commemorate the first anniversary of Syria’s liberation from the rule of Bashar...As inspiring as the speech may be, what is the ruling on holding anniversaries?
Firstly: We can exclude one-off celebrations, as they aren’t relevant to what we’re addressing.
Sheikh ibn Baz rahimahullah said:
"If a person does not make it a recurring celebration that repeats regularly, then it’s fine.…
As for the question of what is the greatest matter that wipes away sins, then the scholars mention that the greatest deed which erases sins is At-Tawḥīd. They use as evidence the well-known ḥadīth of the man who will come on the Day of Judgment with ninety-nine scrolls of sins, each scroll stretching as far as the eye can see, yet one card bearing Lā ilāha illā Allāh will outweigh all of those scrolls.

Question: What is the ruling on taking advantage of the discounts that many large stores offer at the beginning of the new year?
Sheikh Sulayman Ar-Ruhaili hafidahullah:
There is no problem for a Muslim to benefit from the discounts given at the end of the year. By this, he is not celebrating, and these sales…
Al-Awzā‘ī (رحمه الله) said:
كُنَّا نَضحَكُ وَنَمزَحُ، فَلَمَّا صِرْنَا يُقْتَدَى بِنَا، خَشِيْتُ أَنْ لاَ يَسَعَنَا التَّبَسُّمُ.
"We used to laugh and joke, but when people began to take us as examples, I feared that even smiling might no longer be appropriate for us.”

A brother remarked:
"It's calm to buss jokes sometimes...why you man always screw-facing?"
Response:
Walaal, the reason you sometimes see practicing brothers or sisters with a screw-face is because, from the moment they step outside their homes until they return, they are surrounded by all kinds of evil and temptation. Some even face those same…
