Shaykh Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his book "Ahkam al-Jana'iz wa Bida'uha" (The Rules of Funerals and Their Innovations), page 300:
"It is not prescribed to place basil or similar fragrant plants and flowers on graves, because this was not something done by the righteous predecessors (al-salaf). And if it had been good, they would have preceded us in doing it.

Is spreading the above image speaking against the rulers?
There are two main aspects to consider regarding this issue:
1. The factual nature of the incident and the Islamic ruling concerning it:
If it is confirmed that weapons were sold to hostile forces during a time in which they are actively engaged in combat against Muslims, then without doubt, this is impermissible in Islamic law.
Imam al-Nawawī…
Have you ever heard of Sheikh Muqbil Ibn Hādī al-Wādiʿī – may Allāh have mercy on him?
Was that a yes?
[If not, see link https://t.me/salafirecords/913 ]
If so, allow me to ask:
Have you ever seen him?
And by that, I don’t mean in person—I mean, have you ever seen any videos of him delivering a sermon or conducting a lesson?
Was that a no?
Of course not. Because no such videos exist. And don't go searching…
Sheikh Ibn Bāz, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:
"معناه صحيح، وحديث واثلة وشواهده قد تقوى على الحُسْن، لكن حتى لو ما صح فيه حديث هو داخل في إيذاء المؤمن."
"The meaning is correct...and even if the ḥadīth is not authentic, it (i.e. mocking a Muslim for a sin they committed) would still fall under abusing a believer."
[End of…

'Amr ibn Qays Al-Mullā'ī said:
"If you see a youth in his initial phase hanging around Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamā'ah then have hope for him, but if you see him with the people of innovation…
How can it be that beneath all this devastation, over 40,000 armed and trained fighters are living—eating and drinking—while thousands of corpses lie above them…only to then emerge and pose for photos and videos during the handover of captives?!
Thus, retaliation against the disbelievers will come — but only after implementating the causes of victory: Tawheed , sound creed, piety, patience, unity, and casting away division and discord.
However, if disbelievers launch an assault upon a group of Muslims, those Muslims are obliged to repel the attack to the best of their ability, even if it requires making a peace treaty they may not favour. If they are killed in the process, they must remain patient, for Allāh has willed good for them. As Anas ibn Mālik (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
((إن الله إذا أحب عبدا…
BENEFIT 415: Is jihad currently an individual obligation upon all Muslims? And are Muslims today sinful for forsaking Gaza?
Sheikh ’Adnān Al-Maṣqari ḥafidhahullāh responded:
"When Muslims are in a state of weakness and lack the capability to engage in jihad, they must avoid provoking the disbelievers as long as the disbelievers leave them alone. In such circumstances, they should fortify themselves with Ēmān, sound creed, and tawheed, and strive diligently in raising their sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters upon the teachings of the…
BENEFIT 414: We are great in number, yet they do not fear us — why is that?
Sheikh Muhammad Aman Al-Jami rahimahullah:
The disbelievers are not concerned by the large number of Muslims today, for they know that Muslims are no longer one unified group, but rather divided factions, each in conflict with the other, consuming one another from within.
Therefore, if we desire for Allāh to grant us honour as He did to the early generations, we must return to the true Manhaj—the Prophetic Manhaj.…

Teach your children that true men do not weep over a loss on the football pitch. Rather, they weep for a missed prayer, a suspended divine law, or violated sanctities.
BENEFIT 413: Refraining from enjoining good and forbidding evil out of fear of people is from minor shirk
Question: O noble Sheikh — may Allah grant you success — the questioner asks: “There are those who show undue courtesy in matters of religion, to the extent that it becomes their habit. They do not speak out against wrongdoing and feel shy to object to those they frequently associate with. Would this behaviour be considered a form of hypocrisy?”
Sheikh Fawzan hafidahullah responded:
This has been mentioned as…
Israel: “We are very sorry about the hostage situation. We are exerting all our efforts to find them. We’ve only completely flattened Gaza, have drones flying overhead 24/7, can pinpoint and kill Hamas operatives inside Gaza and outside, and even assassinated the very secretive Hassan Nasrallah in his underground bunker hundreds of miles away in Lebanon.
However, we are still searching for the hostages just a few…
BENEFIT 412: How could Iblīs have whispered to Adam after being expelled from Paradise?
Student: There is a confusion?
Sheikh ’Uthaymeen: What is the confusion?
Student: How was Iblees able to whisper to Adam despite being expelled from Paradise.
Sheikh ’Uthaymeen: I ask you: When was Iblees expelled from Paradise?
Student: After he disobeyed.
Sheikh ’Uthaymeen: And when did he disobey?
Student: When he refused to prostrate to Adam.
Sheikh ’Uthaymeen: I understand that you grasp the…
الجهاد يبدأ بجهاد النفس! | الشيخ الألباني رحمه الله
Sheikh Albani raḥimahullāh brings up a crucial point: What is the benefit if, for every Zionist killed, ten Muslims lose their lives and thousands more are imprisoned?!
WARNING! Do not let political agitators and the Khawarij manipulate your emotions in an effort to stir unrest in Muslim countries by inciting opposition to the rulers.
Listen to how angry Sheikh Al-Albāni (may Allāh have mercy on him) gets at this man who criticised the rulers in support of Hamas.
BENEFIT 411: Permissibility of Describing Qur’anic Chapters as Short or Small
Sheikh ’Abdullah Al-Hakami hafidahullah stated:
"...Scholars have differed on whether it is appropriate to describe some chapters or Āyahs of the Qur'ānn as "short," "small," or "light." It has been authentically reported that some of the pious predecessors discouraged such descriptions. For instance, it is narrated that Abū Al-ʿĀliya Ar-Riyāḥī, may Allāh have mercy on him, used to prohibit saying, “This is a short…
Sheikh Hamood At-Tuwaijri, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:

BENEFIT 410: Beware of Fazaa'il e A'maal & Tableeghi Nisab
Sheikh Sulayman Ar-Ruhaili hafidahullah mentioned while speaking about Jamā'at At-Tablīgh:
There is a well-known book among them titled Fazail-e-A'maal, authored by Muhammad Zakariya, who was the son-in-law of Muhammad Ilyas, the founder of the group. He was considered the scholar of the group, if there was any scholar among them, as they generally do not place importance on knowledge and tend to distance…
After completing the fast of the month of Ramaḍhān and celebrating ’Eid Al-Fiṭr on the first day of Shawwāl, people begin to fast the first six days of Shawwāl. Then, on the eighth day, they designate it as “Eid Al-Abrār”; ”Eid of the Righteous.
This is among the newly innovated practices in the month of Shawwāl which Muslims must be made aware of.

BENEFIT 409: The Consequences of Supporting Wrongdoers
Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:
"Whoever supports the criminals among the oppressors in their injustice, or the people of whims and innovations in their desires and innovations, or the people of immorality and lusts in their debauchery and passions—seeking to spare himself the pain of their harm—will suffer, both in the short and long term, a pain from siding with them far greater than what…
