Another innovated principle:
Differing in issues of manhaj bears no effect if we share the same Aqeedah.
Sheikh Abdulḥamīd Az-Zu'kari hafidahullāh wrote:
This is a malicious and divisive principle propagated by the new Hizbi groups such as the Sururiyyah and Qutbiyyah. They claim, "We believe that Allāh is above the heavens, and that Allāh will be seen on the Day of Judgment," and so on, but despite this, they remain Hizbi, people of Tamyee’ and innovation. We must be cautious of these foreign ideas infiltrating the Salafi Da'wah.
Our Sheikh, Al-Wadi'ee - may Allāh have mercy on him - when asked about 'Manhaj', would say: "Our manhaj is the Qur'ān and the Sunnah."
Sheikh Rabee' - may Allāh preserve him - said as mentioned in "Al-Mawsoo’ah" (1/459): "The issue of distinguishing between Aqeedah and manhaj arose in this era. People did not differentiate between Aqeedah and manhaj (previously), but with the onset of fitan, some of Ahus Sunnah were compelled to make this distinction. However, Sheikh Ibn Baz did not differentiate between Aqeedah and manhaj; he said: 'They are one and the same.' I was forced to say that manhaj is broader than Aqeedah, because manhaj encompasses Aqeedah. The Manhaj of Ahlus Sunnah and wal Jama'ah with relation to belief in the names and attributes is such and such. The manhaj of Ahlus-Sunnah in deriving evidence is such-and-such. The Manhaj of Ahlus-Sunnah in accepting reports is such-and-such. This is their manhaj—how they derive evidence, how they receive and accept reports—this is the Manhaj."
He also said - may Allāh preserve him - in "Al-Majmu’" (14/490): "I heard Sheikh Ibn Baz say that there is no distinction between Aqeedah and manhaj, and he said: 'They are the same.' Sheikh Albani makes a distinction, and I make a distinction too. I believe that manhaj is broader than Aqeedah because manhaj includes Aqeedah, worship, how to acquire knowledge, how to critique, and how to confront the people of innovation. Manhaj is comprehensive, including Ahlus-Sunnah's approach to belief, worship, and taking knowledge."
He also said - may Allāh preserve him - (14/491): "Correct Aqeedah leads to a correct manhaj, and a deficiency in Aqeedah leads to corruption in manhaj."
When asked - may Allah preserve him - as mentioned in "Al-Majmu’" (14/494): "Is it correct to differentiate between Aqeedah and manhaj, such as saying: 'Sunnī in Aqeedah, haraki/activist in Manhaj?'" He replied: "This differentiation is not correct. It is an ugly division and a fragmentation of the religion. How, my brother, can you abandon the Salafi manhaj, become an enemy to it, and say: 'I am a Salafi'? The Manhaj you follow is a war against the Salafi manhaj and Salafi Aqeedah."
