BENEFIT 175: Who is better; the early generations (Salaf) or the later generations (Khalaf)?
Sheikhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

❓What's the quickest way to seek knowledge?

We do not refute individuals, because erroneous ideologies/statements are not about the people who make them, and people change...but rather, the refutation is directed at the ideologies themselves.
Sheikh Hasan comments: This means, don't mention people's names

BENEFIT 174: Some points of observation concerning Sheikh Salih Al-'Usaymi
Sheikh Hasan Ba Shu'aib says (Paraphrasing):
٠ They accuse us of criticising the scholars, but this is nothing new. They said the same thing about Imam Shu'bah, Shafi'ē, Ahmad, etc.
٠ As for Al-Usaymi, let me relate to you some of his erroneous statements:
The sciences of the Muhaddiths have not yet been systematised.
Sheikh Hasan comments: The systemisation began in the second…
So we advise, and if advice is not heeded, we expose by Allah's will. This is the way. Advice first, and if not heeded, then exposure, and he will be expelled, disgraced, and not accepted in any Salaf
...
The criticism of Ahlus-Sunnah about the people of innovation and deviation is embarrassing for them, and it may be recorded in a book such that the author dies, and the one being criticised also dies, but people continue to read about the deviant's condemnation.
Cleanse your libraries. Whoever has a book of the people of misguidance, if you are from those who are capable of refuting, refute it; otherwise, burn…
Question: We found this book with some of the students of knowledge: "Organise Your Life" by Dr. Tariq As-Suwaidan.
Sheikh Abdulhamid Az-Zu'kari, may Allah protect him, responds:
"I fear that your face will turn aswad (black) O student. I fear that your heart will darken O student, if this is your condition; reading the works of a heretic, someone who has left the fold of Islam. Fear Allah and repent to Him,…

Ash-Shāṭibi [Abū Muḥammad Al-Qāsim ibn Fiyurrah - died 590 H] raḥimahullāh said:
"The silence of the Lawgiver (الشارع) regarding a ruling on a particular issue, or leaving an affair unaddressed, can be understood in two ways:
The first way: The silence or omission occurs because there is no cause that necessitates it, no reason established for it, and no event that prompts its authorisation; such as the new…
BENEFIT 170: Categorising the Sunnah into (1) Fi'liyyah and (2) Tarkiyyah
Sheikh Al-Albani, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
"...From this detailed discussion on this particular issue and its like arises a very important Fiqhi principle. Whoever understands it and grasps its implications will adhere to the Sunnah and avoid innovations. This principle states that the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ is divided into two categories: Sunnah Fi'liyyah and Sunnah Tarkiyyah. Be careful not to say…
Therefore, what is not initially enjoined upon the latter with relation to the obligations of prayer is not the first matter enjoined upon the former."

(*) "Muslim households" are ones established upon Tawheed, far from Shirk, who establish the prayer, etc. As for the those who are born into a household that's only affiliation to Islam is its members having Islamic names while they have abandoned the teachings of Islam, then these ones are required to enter into Islam just like the disbelievers!
BENEFIT 170: In the case of those who are born into Muslim households(*), must they renew their Islam by declaring the testimony of faith after reaching puberty?
7. Furthermore, it is well established that the Prophet ﷺ would call the disbelievers to Islam by inviting them to accept the two testimonies.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)." [Agreed upon]
The disbelievers at the time of the Prophet ﷺ understood this hadith better than the theologians…
4. This belief is contrary to the stance of the early generations and the majority of scholars.
In "Al-Hujjah fi Bayan al-Mahajjah" (2/120-121), Al-Asbahani states: "We reject the methodology of the theologians in what they have established, for they claim that the first obligation upon a person is to contemplate in order to know the Creator. THIS IS AN INNOVATED OPINION, unprecedented among the early generations and the leading scholars of the faith. If you were to examine all their statements and writings,…
This is why Muslims are advised not to study in Azhar university
Listen to Ahmad At-Tayyib (president of Azhar) establishing his corrupt beliefs
"Our tradition, which we were raised upon, states that the first duty upon the morally responsible individual is to contemplate the [existence] of Allāh. Some scholars have mentioned that contemplation occurs when there is a reason for it, such as inquiry or questioning, which they termed as the stage of doubt. The stage of doubt means…
BENEFIT 169: The first obligation upon the Mukallaf
Questioner: May Allah reward you with goodness and kindness. This questioner asks: Our esteemed Sheikh, we seek a detailed explanation and clarification regarding the statement of the theologians (ahlul-kalam) that the first obligation is to know Allāh through contemplation (النظر), or the intention to contemplate (القصد إلى النظر), or through doubt (الشك). What do they mean by this, what are their proofs, and how…
