ما زاد عن حدِّه انقلب إلى ضدِّه
Whatever exceeds its limit has an adverse/reverse effect
Meaning: Things often turn ugly when one fails to maintain a balanced approach.
Example: An adult requires 8 hours of sleep on average per day in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but if one oversleeps they will feel lethargic, and if this continues, eventually they become unhealthy.

Sheikh Hasan Bā Shu’aib ḥafidhahullāh was asked if it's permissible to make the following supplication:
اللهم عليك باليهود ومن هاودهم...
O Allāh, punish the Jews and those who conclude peace treaties with them...
He Answered: No. This supplication is impermissible because it includes supplicating against those Muslims who have concluded peace treaties with the Jews.
The meaning of (هاود): is to conclude a truce with (someone).
▫️1. Image making [of anything that possesses a soul] is forbidden and is a major sin. There are 7 punishments that we can extract from the ahadīth mentioned in regards to image making without the means [of how you make the image] being mentioned. Rather irregardless which mean is being used to create an image. The Prophet ﷺ has placed this hukm of it being forbidden and a major sin.
▫️2. Making and sharing images…

Reminder to Imāms: Qunūt An-Nāzilah should be said during the Jumu'ah Khuṭbah - not in the prayer.
This is an example from today's Khuṭbah by Sheikh Abdulḥamīd ḥafidhahullāh.
Reminder to attendees: You should remain silent throughout the Khuṭbah, even when the Imām makes du’ā.
1:45 - Definition of Qunūt
2:28 - Ḥadīths pertaining to Qunūt Nāzilah
7:24 - FOUR points derived from the above ḥadīths
11:46 - P1. When is it legislated to observe Qunūt Nāzilah?
14:32 - P2. Is the leader's permission required?
30:18 - P3. Qunūt should not be specific to certain prayers
30:58 - P4. Why not all calamities?
33:21 - P5. Qunūt is short!
35:22 - P6. It's not prescribed to wipe over the face…
“Our criticism of Hamas in issues of Manhaj does not prevent us from supporting them and the Muslims in Palestine to the best of our ability; Gaza in particular. Rather, it is obligatory for us to support them in every way we can, because their enemy is the enemy of Islām and the Muslims; i.e. the Jews. And it's feared that forsaking the Muslims there based on partisan or ideological reasoning may lead to this…
At least 500 people have been killed in a bombing of a hospital in Gaza City | Are you really surprised?!
How can you be surprised when these are the same people who murdered their own Prophets:
{لَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِیثَـٰقَ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡهِمۡ رُسُلࣰاۖ كُلَّمَا جَاۤءَهُمۡ رَسُولُۢ بِمَا لَا تَهۡوَىٰۤ أَنفُسُهُمۡ فَرِیقࣰا كَذَّبُوا۟ وَفَرِیقࣰا یَقۡتُلُونَ}
“We took a pledge from the Children of Israel, and sent messengers to them. Whenever a messenger brought them anything they did not like,…
Pertaining to the announcement being circulated on social media about fasting a particular day in solidarity with those suffering in Gaza, then this is not legislated.
It falls contrary to the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ. Rather, what's required is to make du’ā - especially during times when du’ā is likely to be answered.
Whoever is in the habit of fasting voluntarily may continue fasting, and they should supplicate…
This is one of the best ḥadīth Apps available to students of knowledge on the market. It used to work offline, until a new update was released some months back. If you update, the App will no longer work offline. What a khasārah!
If you are in this predicament and want to go back to the old offline version, here's what you need to do:
STEP 1: Uninstall the updated version
STEP 2: Install the old version from…
سألته "من أبوك؟" فقال: "خالي شعيب"
I asked him, 'who is your father?' and he relied: 'My uncle is Shu'ayb.'
This proverb describes someone who evades questions rather than giving direct responses.
Example: when the Jewish spokespeople are questioned as to why they are committing war crimes in Gaza; collective punishment of Palestinians, massacre of innocent lives, etc. Their response: “Israel has a right to…
Fajr reminder today at a local Somali Masjid in Toronto by Abu Attiyah Mahmoud in the Somali language
____
Our teacher ḥafidhahullāh does not fail to benefit, whatever language he speaks. اللهم بارك
3:10 - Nice linguistic benefit from this part of the clip; I never knew LIBAN meant SUCCESS! (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). This is a common name among Somali males.
Did you also know that reversing this name gives you another common Arabic name = NABIL? Which means: noble, highbred, magnificent,…
It's said that protests are expected around the Arab world after Friday prayers today
When we see these protesters gathering in their droves, you can't but appreciate the prophecy of the Prophet ﷺ:
