A courier arrived from Syria to ’Umar ibn Abdul Aziz, and ’Umar asked him, "How did you leave the state of Syria?"
The courier replied:
«تركتُ ظالمهم مقهورًا، ومظلومهم ،منصورًا، وغَنِيَّهم موفورًا وفقيرهم محبورًا»
