Beneficial Knowledge → Ṣadaqah Jāriyah

Just a quick reminder to myself and to my brothers and sisters – let’s keep checking our intentions in everything we do, especially when it comes to teaching. If we want this knowledge to really count as ṣadaqah jāriyah, then let’s not just teach for the sake of Allāh, but also try to make it easy for others to access. Many of us recieved this knowledge for free – so let's pass it down for free. Furthermore, the Prophet ﷺ said: ((لا تحقرن من المعروف شيئا)) "Don’t look down on any act of goodness." If you’ve got notes or beneficial class recordings, why not share them with others? You never know whose life it could impact. It’s an easy way to set up ongoing reward for yourself while still alive, hoping that it continues long after you're gone. Let’s be honest – if Abul Miqdad (rahimahullāh) had gotten caught up in that cold, overcautious waraʿ and held back recording his duroos or started charging, would we even have all these amazing clips to benefit from today?
