Free-mixed shopping centres Is it permissible for a muslim to enter a shopping centre whilst he knows that in this centre there are uncovered, (near) naked women and there is free mixing which is not pleasing to Allah? Sheikh Ibn Baz rahimahullah answered: It is not allowed to enter this type of market except for one who orders with good and forbids evil OR for a necessity whilst lowering the gaze and taking precaution against all means of fitnah (temptations and trials) so as to safeguard one's honour and religion and be removed from the path to evil (sin)...
