Performing Ruqyah During Menses Question: Is it permissible to perform ruqyah sharβ€˜iyyah during menstruation? Answer: Yes, it is permissible for a woman who is menstruating to perform ruqyah on herself or on others using the Qur’anic Δ€yāt of ruqyah and the supplications found in the Qur'ān and Sunnah. It is also permissible for her to listen to recorded ruqyah, to bathe with water that has been used for ruqyah, and to apply oil that has haf ruqyah read over it. There is no harm in any of these practices. Some women suspend their ruqyah sessions under the pretext of menstruation, which may provide an opportunity for the shayṭān to exploit the situation. In some cases, the bleeding may persist beyond the usual duration due to the effect of the shayṭān residing in the womb of the afflicted woman. Moreover, some women are unable to distinguish between menstruation (αΈ₯ayḍ) and irregular bleeding (istiαΈ₯āḍah), and thus may abandon prayer and fasting assuming they are menstruating when, in fact, they are not. Therefore, it is essential for women to acquire proper understanding in this area. And Allāh is the One whose help is sought. Source: https://t.me/ruqyachannel/200
