Is it permissible for a woman to breastfeed her baby sister, and would it then be permissible for her husband to meet this sister? Answered by Sheikh AbΕ« Bilāl αΈ₯afidhahullāh (Paraphrased): β€œThere is no objection to a woman breastfeeding whomever she wills [within the limits of the SharΔ«'ah]; whether the child is related to her or not; if the child needs to be breastfed and she is capable of doing so, there is no harm in that. And when she breastfeeds her [and the conditions of suckling relations are met], she (the older sister) becomes her mother, and her husband becomes her father [through suckling relations]; because he is the owner of the milk. So once suckling relations are established, there is nothing wrong in him (the husband) sitting with this sister, because she is his daughter. Likewise, when she grows up and gets married, her husband will be their son-in-law, and their children will be their grandchildren from suckling relations.” ➑️@womensbenefits
