Will women veil themselves from men in Paradise?
Sheikh Yahya hafidahullah:
Paradise contains what AllΔh, the Almighty, described in His saying: βTherein are [maidens] restraining their glances, untouched before them by man or jinnβ β meaning, they lower their gaze and are devoted to their husbands.
The Prophet ο·Ί said, in reference to his ascension or in a dream he saw: βI saw a palace, and I asked, βWhose is this?β It was said, βFor βUmar.β I saw a woman performing ablution therein, and were it not for your sense of protective jealous (O βUmar), I would have entered.β
This indicates that no one enters upon another manβs wives in Paradise.
Among the perfections of bliss in Paradise is that no one is tried or tempted by anotherβs family, whether by looking at them or otherwise. The delight in the Hereafter for the people of Paradise is greater and more complete than that of this world. The scholar will be resurrected as a scholar, and the one who died as person of chastity will be raised in that same state β whether male or female.
