𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗷

Sheikh ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: «يجب أن نعلم أن الحناء من جملة الزينة التي لا يجوز للمرأة أن تبديها لغير من أباح الله لها إبداء الزينة لهم ، أي أنها لا تبديها للرجال الأجانب ، فإذا أرادت أن تخرج إلى السوق مثلاً لحاجة ، فإنه لا بد أن تلبس على قدميها جوربين إذا كانت قد حنت قدميها ، وكذلك بالنسبة للكفين ، لا بد أن تسترهما ، مع أن ستر الكفين للمرأة هو المشروع إذا كان حولها رجال أجانب ، سواء كانت قد حنتهما أم لم تحنهما» "We have to know that henna is considered a form of adornment, which a woman is not permitted to display except to those whom Allah has allowed her to show her adornment. This means that she should not reveal it to non-mahram men. Therefore, if she intends to go out to the market, for instance, for a necessity, she must wear socks if she has applied henna to her feet. Similarly, with regard to her hands, she must cover them. Moreover, covering the hands is generally prescribed for a woman in the presence of non-mahram men, regardless of whether she has applied henna to them or not." [Fataawa Noor ala ad-Darb (7/2)]
