The Ruling on Intercourse Upon Arrival for a Fasting Traveller
A man travelled during the daytime in RamaαΈhΔn but did not take advantage of the concession to break his fast while travelling. Upon arriving at his destination, he had intercourse with his wife. What is the ruling in this case?
Sheikh AbdulαΈ₯amΔ«d Az-Zu'kari αΈ₯afidhahullΔh says:
If he arrived in his own town and then engaged in intercourse during the daytime in RamaαΈhΔn, he must offer the expiation required for one who has intercourse while fasting in RamaαΈhΔn. However, if he arrived in another town and was still considered a traveller, there is no blame on him, as he remains under the rulings applicable to a traveller.
