𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 (295)

Resolving Marital Problems Through Strengthening One's Relationship with Allāh Rather than engaging in the blame game and falling into a cycle of tit for tat, focus on strengthening your relationship with Allāh, as this is one of the most effective ways to improve your relationship with your husband. Allāh ﷻ say: ﴿وَمَن یَتَّقِ ٱللهَ یَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ مَخۡرَجࣰا (2) وَیَرۡزُقۡهُ مِنۡ حَیۡثُ لَا یَحۡتَسِبُۚ وَمَن یَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللهِ فَهُوَ حَسۡبُهُ﴾ "...And whoever fears Allāh – He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allāh – then He is sufficient for him..." [Surah Aṭ-Ṭalāq: 2-3] He has promised the believers and the righteous a good life and happiness in both this world and the Hereafter, as He says: ﴿مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنࣱ فَلَنُحۡیِیَنَّهُۥ حَیَوٰةࣰ طَیِّبَةࣰۖ وَلَنَجۡزِیَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ﴾ "Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while they are a believer – We will surely grant them a good life, and We will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do." [Surah An-Naḥl: 97] Therefore, increase in remembrance of Allāh, prayer, and supplication, for hearts are in the hands of the Most Merciful, and He turns them as He wills. When a good husband sees patience, Taqwā, respect, and a sincere desire for a harmonious life from his wife, he will love, honour, and appreciate her for these noble qualities. And know that patience leads to relief.
