𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 (289)

True Sisterhood Sheikh Ibn Baz, may Allāh have mercy on him, said [edited (1)]: "Your sister is the one who advises you, reminds you, and guides you. She is not your sister who is heedless of you, turns away from you, and abandons you. Rather, your true sister is the one who sincerely advises you, admonishes you, and reminds you of Allāh. She calls you to Allāh, clarifies the path of salvation so you may follow it, and warns you against the path of destruction by explaining its evil consequences so that you may avoid it." [Majmu’ Fatawa Ibn Baz (21/14)] ____ (1) Sheikh's actual words [True brotherhood] «أخوك من نصحك وذكرك ونبّهك، وليس أخوك من غفل عنك وأعرض عنك وجا ملك ولكن أخاك في الحقيقة هو الذي ينصحك والذي يعظك ويذكرك ، يدعوك إلى الله، يبين لك طريق النجاة حتى تسلكه، ويحذرك من طريق الهلاك ويبين لك سوء عاقبته حتى تجتنبه» "Your brother is the one who advises you, reminds you, and guides you.
