𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 (43)

Making the most of intimacy Ibn Al-Qayyim raḥimahullāh said: «فإن صادف ذلك وجهاً حسناً، وخلقاً دمثاً، وعشقا وافراً، ورغبة تامة، واحتساباً للثواب، فذلك اللذة التي لا يعادلها شيء، ولا سيما إذا وافقت كمالها، فإنها لا تكمُل حتى يأخذ كل جزء من البدن بقسطه من اللذّة، فتلتذّ العين بالنظر إلى المحبوب، والأذن بسماع كلامه، والأنف بشم رائحته، والفم بتقبيله، واليد بلمسه، وتعتكف كل جارحة على ما تطلبه من لذّتها، وتقابله من المحبوب، فإن فقد من ذلك شيءٌ لم تزل النفس متطلّعة إليه متقاضية له فلا تسكن كل السكون» “If it (intercourse) is done wholeheartedly, in a friendly and loving manner, with full desire and the intention of reward, one attains complete unparalleled pleasure, especially when it reaches its climax, as it only reaches this once every part of the body takes its share of pleasure; the eye by looking at the beloved (spouse), the ears by listening to their voice, the nose by smelling their scent, the lips by kissing them, the hand by touching them, and every limb continues to seek its pleasure, and the same for the beloved (spouse). But if something is missing from that, the soul continues to look forward to it and seek it, and will not remain completely at rest [until it has attained that].” And he quoted the saying of Allāh ﷻ: ﴿وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَنۡ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جࣰا لِّتَسۡكُنُوۤا۟ إِلَیۡهَا﴾ “And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them.” [Sūrah Ar-Rūm: 21] [روضة المحبين ونزهة المشتاقين ٢١٧] ➡️@womensbenefits
