Don't talk too much! Some of the Salaf would refrain from accepting narrations from certain narrators due to their excessive talking Al-'Aquyli narrated in "Aḍ-Ḍu'afā" with a strong chain of transmission, that: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلْحَكَمِ: مَا لَكَ لَمْ تَحْمِلْ عَنْ زَاذَانَ؟ قَالَ: كَانَ كَثِيرَ الْكَلَامِ.
