Clarification Regarding the Sisters’ Area We would like to clarify the current arrangements regarding the area downstairs that has been used for sisters. The downstairs section does not belong to Masjid As-Sahabah at present. It has been a rented space that we have been using temporarily to accommodate our sisters. Therefore, at this stage, the masjid does not have a designated sisters’ section. In shā’ Allāh, we will be putting up curtains upstairs to create a sisters’ section. However, due to the fact that there is only one entrance to the upstairs hall, we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate sisters for general activities and prayers there at this time. The upstairs sisters’ area will primarily be available for Madrasah classes and duroos, where suitable arrangements can be made. We sincerely ask our sisters to bear with us during this transitional period. Our sisters are the backbone of this da‘wah, and we greatly value your presence, support and participation. We are doing our best to find better and more suitable solutions that will allow us to accommodate sister-friendly activities and a proper sisters’ section, bi-idhnillāh.
