Divorce of a Husband Who Becomes Insane After Marriage
Question:
A man became insane after marriage. Does his divorce take effect? Or should the woman request annulment (faskh) or khulΚΏ?
Shaykh Muhammad Al-Aflahi, may Allah preserve him, said:
The divorce of an insane person is not valid. However, the marriage is annulled for the wife.
