Life is Better When You Realise That You Are Precious I’m going to tell you something that will make you happy. Yes, you are something precious. You are valuable because Allah created you and brought you into existence. He is the One who formed you and made your creation beautiful. Don’t you see yourself as something valuable? Your veins, your blood, your heart, your mind, your eyes, your breath that continues without stopping, and the beating of your heart — all of this is from Allah, the Most Great. Don’t you love this precious body? Don’t you believe that Allah chose for you a beautiful destiny, a good form, and a noble character? He created you to worship Him, to pray, and to enjoy the abundant provisions He will send down to you from the sky, because you are a mindful and obedient servant. Allah hears your constant prayers, responds to you, and protects you from every harm that could hurt you. He watches over you day and night — when you are awake and when you are deeply asleep. Indeed, Allah loves you and gives you many blessings so that you may be happy. It’s time to raise your sense of self-worth and to love yourself. Perhaps the people around you have distorted your view of yourself, and maybe you yourself never truly understood your worth. But in reality, you must know that you are a truly wonderful person, loved by others, and that Allah has given you so much in this life so that you can live with happiness and completeness.
