What Men and Women Talk About and Why Ibn Hajar mentioned among the benefits of the hadith of Umm Zar': وفيه أن من شأن النساء إذا تحدثن أن لا يكون حديثهن غالبا إلا في الرجال، وهذا بخلاف الرجال فإن غالب حديثهم إنما هو فيما يتعلق بأمور المعاش “It shows that when women talk, their conversations are often about men. In contrast, men usually talk about matters related to their work and daily life Why is this? نقل عن ابن عباس رضي الله أنه قال: خُلِقَتْ الْمَرْأَة مِنْ الرَّجُل، فَجُعِلَتْ نَهْمَتهَا فِي الرَّجُل، وَخُلِقَ الرَّجُل مِنْ الْأَرْض فَجُعِلَتْ نَهْمَته فِي الْأَرْض، فَاحْبِسُوا نِسَاءَكُمْ It's reported from 'Abdullah ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: ‘Woman was created from man, so her desire is focused on man; and man was created from the earth, so his desire is focused on the earth.’” Source: https://t.me/womensbenefits/1610
