Yellowish Discharge (As-Sufrah): It is yellow liquid, not blood.
Brownish and yellowish discharge have different cases:
1 - If it occurs during the time of menstruation and its cycle, it is considered menstruation.
2 - If the blood (i.e., menstrual blood) becomes lighter on some days until nothing remains except brownish or yellowish discharge, it is still considered menstruation. Included in this case is when the brownish or yellowish discharge appears after the blood has stopped, but still within the usual time of the menstrual cycle and before the signs of purity appear. This is considered menstruation because it is connected to the duration of the regular cycle and the absence of purity.
3 - If the brownish or yellowish discharge occurs after the completion of the regular menstrual cycle, and the signs of purity have not yet appeared, she should not rush and should consider it as menstruation. However, if the increase is beyond what is customary (e.g., it lasts more than three extra days), she should then consider it as chronic bleeding (istihadah).
4 - If the brownish or yellowish discharge occurs after purity has been established, she should not consider it as menstruation, whether it occurs during the time of the usual menstrual cycle or after it.
5 - If the brownish or yellowish discharge comes at the beginning of menstruation, and she has a regular cycle, it is considered menstruation, especially if it is accompanied by the symptoms of menstruation such as pain and the like. However, if it comes before the expected time of menstruation, and it occurs after a state of purity, then it is not menstruation. For example, if her menstruation usually comes at the beginning of the month, and she experiences brownish or yellowish discharge at the end of the month, apparently this is not considered anything (i.e., not menstruation).
6 - If brownish or yellowish discharge occurs for a young woman just beginning menstruation (al-mubtadi'ah) who does not yet have a stable habit, the basic principle is that it is not considered menstruation unless it is preceded by (actual) blood.
7 - If brownish or yellowish discharge occurs outside of menstruation and outside of its expected days, it is not considered menstruation.
Benefit: A pregnant woman does not menstruate. Any blood that comes out from her is considered irregular blood (dam fasad). Therefore, the rulings of a menstruating woman do not apply to her. For this reason, it is permissible for a man to divorce his wife while she is pregnant, whereas it is not permissible to divorce her while she is menstruating.

Note: It was mentioned earlier that if she sees brownish discharge (kudrah) and yellowish discharge (sufrah) after purity, even if during the time of menstruation, she does not consider it anything (i.e., not menstruation). But if the blood returns to her during the time of menstruation, it takes the ruling of menstruation. If the bleeding continues until it exits the time of menstruation, then it is menstruation, unless the increase is beyond what is customary from the days she is accustomed to in her menses – in that case, it would be chronic bleeding (istihadah).
Purity for women is established by two things:
1 - Appearance of the white discharge (Al-Qassah Al-Bayda'), which is a white fluid that comes out after menstruation.
2 - Dryness (Al-Jafaf): They (scholars) said: she inserts cotton or similar, and it comes out clean – this is a sign that she has become pure.
The Second Section:- The Woman with Chronic Bleeding (Al-Mustahadah)
Its Definition: She is the one for whom bleeding continues beyond her usual menstrual cycle.
Benefit: The mustahadah relies on her regular cycle if she has a cycle. Then, if it exceeds her habitual days by more than three days, she performs Ghusl and prays, and if the bleeding continues, it is blood of chronic bleeding (istihadah).
