Delaying Prayer to Apply Henna and Its Effect on Wuḍū' Question: Is it permissible for a woman to delay the prayer in order to apply henna to her hands, since it takes a long time to leave its colour, and she does this as an adornment for her husband? Sheikh Al-Fawzān αΈ₯afidhahullāh: Henna does not invalidate wuḍū', because it does not prevent water from reaching what is beneath it. Whether it is on the head or on the hands, there is no problem for her to perform wuḍū' while henna is on her. Her wuḍū' is valid insha’Allāh because henna does not prevent water from reaching the skin beneath it. Source: https://t.me/womensbenefits/1413
