You Are Not Fit to Be a Wife...

▪️If your husband enters the house and you do not leave whatever is in your hands to go and receive him, greeting him with a smile and comforting him after his fatigue, then you are not fit to be a wife. ▪️If your husband does not eat from what you cook with your own hands, and instead goes out to buy food from a restaurant, and his clothes are only washed by a laundry worker, then you are not fit to be a wife. ▪️If your husband becomes angry and you respond to him with ten words for every word he says, raising your voice at him, then you are not fit to be a wife. ▪️If you sit with your husband at home while having an unpleasant odor, or your clothing is unclean and untidy, then you are not fit to be a wife. ▪️If you disclose the secrets of your household to your mother, your sister, or your friends, then you are not fit to be a wife. ▪️If you incite your husband against his family and do not assist him in honouring and maintaining ties with them, then you are not fit to be a wife. ▪️If the time for prayer arrives and you do not wake your husband for prayer, nor encourage him to obey Allāh Almighty, nor ask him to abandon what is forbidden, nor assist him in repentance, then you are not fit to be a wife.
