Shyness of Imām Mālik's daughter Imam Malik had a daughter named Fātimah — who had memorised all his knowledge. She used to stand concealed behind the door and attend his classes. If a student made a mistake she would knock on the door to draw her father’s attention to it and Imām Mālik would understand the indication and correct the error of the reader.
