Correspondence… the Devil’s Bridge to Hearts

O pure-hearted one… Every message sent to a non-mahram man is a step by which shayṭān opens his door, a loosening of the veil of. modesty, and a whisper that may lead to a stumble. "So do not be soft in speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should desire." [Qur'ān 33:32] And if you think that chastity alone is a sufficient fortress, remember this: we are not purer than the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, nor are you purer than the Mothers of the Believers. Yet Allāh said of the purest of homes: “And when you ask them for something, ask them from behind a partition.” [Qur'ān 33:53] So how can we feel safe from that against which Allāh Himself has warned? Fear Allāh for your heart, fear Allāh for your modesty, for the first step of a fall…is a message written with shy restraint. ✍️ Faisal Al-Hashidi
