Truth is judged on evidence - not eloquence
Shaykh βAbd al-βAzeez ibn Baz rahimahullΔh:
βIndeed an abundance of speech and eloquence are not evidence of the truth, rather evidence of the truth is what Allaah said and what His Messenger ο·Ί said.β
[Majmoo al-Fatawa, vol. 6, pg. 223]
Sheikh al-Albani rahimahullah said:
β‎The person who is seeking the truth, one evidence will be enough for him. A person who is upon their desires, a thousand evidences will still not be clear to him.β
[Silsilat al-Huda wan Noor, 311]
