He justifies his intention by saying that he can guide her, and that she would, in turn, serve female students of knowledge in her field of specialisation—obstetrics and gynecology. Sheikh Najeeb Ash-Shar’abi ḥafidhahullāh: If she has repented from the prohibitions associated with such studies—such as gender mixing and the like—and is righteous and upright, then there is no harm in doing so.
