The Prohibition of Sexual Relations Within the Masjid Question: Is it permissible to have sexual intercourse in the women’s prayer area? Sheikh Najeeb Ash-Shar’abi ḥafidhahullāh: If the term “women’s prayer area” refers to the women’s section of a masjid, which is part of the masjid, then sexual intercourse is prohibited there. This is based on the words of Allāh Almighty: “And do not have sexual relations with them while you are in retreat (i‘tikaf) in the masājid.” [Al-Baqarah: 187] Al-‘Izz ibn ‘Abd As-Salam states in Qawā‘id Al-Aḥkām (Vol. 2, p. 102): “If sexual intercourse occurs in the masjid, it is considered sinful.” Source: https://t.me/qweasdzxcmnblkjpoik/3470
