Delaying Ghusl Due to Embarrassment in Front of Family Question: If I experience a wet dream at night or have intercourse with my wife, but I am unable to perform ghusl due to embarrassment in front of my family, is it permissible for me to perform tayammum and delay the ghusl until noon because of this embarrassment? This is because if I bathe before dawn, they might say, “Allāh knows what he's been up to!” Sheikh Najeeb Ash-Shar’abi ḥafidhahullāh: Perform the ghusl, and by Allāh’s will, your embarrassment will fade with time as you become accustomed to it.
