Ruling on Women Answering Calls from Men
Question: If a man calls the house and there are only women present, is it permissible for a woman to answer the phone?

In terns of ruling, it is permissible for her to respond, provided that she does not speak in a soft or alluring manner. However, it is not obligatory for her to answer the call. She may leave the phone unanswered. If she does respond without speaking in a submissive or seductive tone, then this is permissible.
