"And Allāh knows, while you do not know."

Here lies complete consolation. We do not know where true goodness resides; Perhaps we detest something in which our happiness was destined, and perhaps we love something in which our misery would have been found — Yet Allāh, in His mercy, turned it away from us. Be certain that when Allāh wants good for you, He will surely bring it to you, even if it must come through a thousand narrow paths, until you find yourself amazed at how it ever reached you.
