Guard Yourself from Such Behaviour Sheikh ’Ammār Al-Ḥawbani ḥafidhahullāh said: "A woman who constantly occupies herself with curiosity, following the news of others—what they have done, what they are doing, and then spreading or discussing it—demonstrates that her interests are misplaced. This indicates that she is wasting her time, lacks self-restraint, and is weak in Ēmān. By engaging in such behaviour, she distracts herself from obedience to Allāh and becomes preoccupied with seeking the faults of others, engaging in gossip and slander—all of which are major sins."
