The Double Standards of Modern Culture 📌 When a woman wakes up early to exercise, she is motivated. But when she rises early to care for her home and and family, she lacks ambition. 📌 When she serves her boss at work, she is a dedicated professional. Yet when she serves her husband at home, she is submissive. 📌 When she attends university and devotes hours to worldly knowledge, she is successful. But when she frequents the masjid to study her Deen, she is wasting her life. 📌 When she abstains from certain foods for her health, she is disciplined. Yet when she avoids what Allāh has forbidden, she is extreme. 📌 When she covers her face with a mask to avoid illness, she is enlightened. But when she wears the niqāb out of fear of Allāh ﷻ, she is oppressed. 📌 When she refuses to shake hands out of fear of infection, she is civilised. Yet when she refuses to shake hands with the opposite gender out of fear of Allāh ﷻ, she is backward. The contradictions are countless, yet the truth is simple and undeniable: ﴿فَاللهُ أَحَقُّ أَنْ تَخْشَوْهُ إِن كُنتُم مُؤْمِنِينَ﴾ “Allāh has more right that you should fear Him, if you are (truly) believers.” [Sūrah At-Tawbah 9:13] Source: https://t.me/womensbenefits/1104
