𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 (77)

Struggling with housework? Washing dishes, hoovering, tidying beds, shopping, preparing meals, feeding the kids, washing clothes, more dishes.........It can be overwhelming sometimes. Fāṭimah radhiyallahu 'anha, the beloved daughter of the Prophet ﷺ, once came and complained to her father about excessive household work and requested a slave [to assist with household chores]. Her hands were blistered from grinding the flour in the mill. Later that evening, the Prophet ﷺ went to her house. Ali radhiyallahu 'anhu, Fatimah's husband was also at home. The Prophet ﷺ lied down between them and asked them: ((ألا أدلكما على ما هو خير لكما من خادم؟)) “Should I not direct you to something even better than a servant?” ((إذا أويتما إلى فراشكما، أو أخذتما مضاجعكما، فكبرا ثلاثًا وثلاثين، وسبحا ثلاثًا وثلاثين واحمدا ثلاثًا وثلاثين، فهذا خير لكما من خادم)) “When you go to sleep say: ‘subhanAllah’ 33 times, ‘Alhamdulillah’ 33 times, and ‘Allahu akbar’ 34 times.
