Consoling The Bald-headed (ุงู„ุฃุตู„ุน) Question: Some people say that the Prophet ๏ทบ sought refuge from the bald-headed? Sheikh Abdulhameed Az-Zu'kari แธฅafidhahullฤh: This is not correct. โ€™Umar ibn Al-Khattab was bald, โ€™Uthmฤn ibn โ€™Affฤn was bald, and Muโ€™ฤwiyah ibn Abi Sufyฤn was also bald. There were numerous bald men among the Salaf, may Allฤh be pleased with them. What does baldness have to do with virtue or lack thereof? If Allฤh created a man with dark skin, can we say this is a flaw? No; Allฤh created him in this way, and similarly, Allฤh created some men bald or missing limbs. There are sayings that people circulate which have no basis in the Sharฤซโ€˜ah. There is a humorous clip titled: ุงู„ู‚ูˆู„ ุงู„ุฃู†ูุน ู„ู…ุฏุงุฑุงุฉ ุงู„ุฃุฎ ุงู„ุฃุตู„ุน "The Best Approach in Dealing with a Bald Brother" [In this clip] it mentions examples of those who are bald-headed. It mentions that some of the noblemen of Quraysh were bald and that women favoured bald men as husbands. It also states that one benefit of baldness is that children can playfully hit their fathers on the head and enjoy it. Such things (being bald), my brothers, are not matters to occupy oneself with. The common folk say, โ€œI seek refuge in Allฤh from a solar bald-head (a shining scalp),โ€ referring to someone bald at the very top of his head. https://t.me/Menzbenefits/40
