Seeking Refuge from the Evil of Uncontrolled Desire
Sheikh Abdurrazaq Al-Badr states
Semen can lead to evil. That is why it is mentioned in a well-known supplication from our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): โI seek refuge in You from the evil of my semen.โ(1)
Semen carries evil if a person does not control himself, does not remain chaste, does not fear Allah (the Almighty), and does not avoid things that arouse desireโsuch as looking, touching, listening, or other similar actions. Otherwise, it is evil and may lead a person into serious wrongdoingโinto one of the worst destructive sins, one of the gravest major sins, and one of the most shameful immoral acts. Therefore, a person seeks refuge in Allah, the Most High, from its evil.

(1) Narrated Shakal ibn Humayd Al-โAbsi (may Allah be pleased with him): I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, โO Messenger of Allah, teach me a supplication that I can use to seek protection.โ He took my hand and said, โSay:
((ุงูููููู

"O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, from the evil of my sight, from the evil of my tongue, from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen,โ meaning his private part.
