29: Starting with the right side (Tayāmun) when wearing clothes It is narrated from ʿĀʾishah that she said: The Prophet ﷺ liked starting with the right in putting on his sandals, in washing his feet, in purification, and in all of his affairs. [Reported by Al-Bukhārī (167) and Muslim (268)] And the Prophet ﷺ said: “When you dress and when you perform wudu, start with your right side.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Abī Dāwūd (4141)]
