2: Hair Extension (Attaching Hair) Narrated from Asmā’ (may Allāh be pleased with her): A woman asked the Prophet ﷺ: “O Messenger of Allāh, my daughter has been affected by measles, and her hair has fallen out. I married her off; should I attach hair to it?” The Prophet ﷺ replied: “May Allāh curse the one who attaches [hair] and the one for whom it is attached.” [Reported by Al-Bukhārī (5941)] Explanation: Measles is a type of smallpox.
