1: Al-Qaza‘ (Partial Head Shaving)
Narrated from ʿUmar ibn Nāfiʿ, from his father (Nāfiʿ), from [’Abdullāh] Ibn ʿUmar:
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade Al-qaza‘.
I asked Nāfiʿ: “What is Al-qaza‘?”
He said: “It is when part of a child’s head is shaved while part is left unshaved.”
[Reported by Al-Bukhārī (5921) and Muslim (2120)]
And Ibn ʿUmar reported that the Prophet ﷺ saw a boy whose head had been partially shaved and partially left, and he forbade that, saying:
“Shave it all, or leave it all.”
