I recieved the above question and forwarded it to Ustadh Abu Ibrahim Fahd hafidahullah, who responded with the following:

1⃣. Degrading for the man. 2⃣. Risks his wife losing respect for him 3⃣. Tashbabbuh bil kuffar possibly due to porn (using whips etc, because he will be a slave) 4⃣. Risk of being decensitised therefore may want to go beyond halal bounds ------ Addition from myself: 5⃣. Tashbabbuh bin Nisaa possibly, due to the hadith of ʿAmr ibn Al-Aḥwaṣ: ((واستَوصوا بالنِّساءِ خيرًا، فإنَّما هُنَّ عوانٍ عندَكم)) "And treat women with kindness, for they are only captives entrusted to you." [Ṣaḥīḥ At-Tirmidhī (3087); graded Ḥasan by Sheikh Albani raḥimahullāh]
