𝗠𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 (48)

No invite for my wife? Then I’m not coming Imam Muslim narrated in his Ṣaḥīh from Anas (may Allāh be pleased with him): أَنَّ جَارًا، لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَارِسيًّا. كَانَ طَيِّبَ الْمَرَقِ. فَصَنَعَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ. ثُمَّ جَاءَ يَدْعُوهُ. فَقَال: ((وَهذِهِ؟)) لِعَائِشَةَ. فَقَال: لَا. فَقَال رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: ((لَا)) "A Persian neighbour of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, who was good at making broth, prepared some food for the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ. Then he came to invite him. The Prophet ﷺ said (pointing to ʿĀʾishah): “And what about her?” The man replied, “No.” So the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, “Then no.”
