Sheikh ’AbdulAzīz ibn Bāz rahimahullah said: “Many people have become accustomed to saying: ‘ṢadaqAllāh-ul-‘Adhīm’ when they finish reciting the Qurān Al-Karīm, But this act is baseless and it should not be taken as a custom. Rather, according to the principles of Sharī'ah, it is a type of Bid’ah." [Majmūʿ al-Fatāwá 24/410]
