Community Update

In order to ease the financial pressure on the masjid, the downstairs premises will be sublet to a separate entity. This means that the rent and running costs associated with the downstairs area will be covered independently and will no longer fall under the masjid’s financial responsibilities. Nevertheless, the downstairs area will continue to serve as a musalla for the sisters and remain available for essential masjid activities, including: - Jumu’ah prayers - Conferences - Tarawih prayers - Evening classes - Weekend morning madrasah - Tuesday sisters’ class - Other essential masjid activities, wherever possible This arrangement is expected to commence from next month, in shaa Allah. We ask Allah to place barakah in this arrangement, ease the financial burden on the masjid, and enable us to continue serving the community.
