FAQs

Q1. When are the advertised lessons starting? A1. The new lessons taking place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends will all begin this coming week, from 14/09, in shā’ Allāh. ----------------------- Q2. Are these paid lessons? A2. No. All adult classes are completely free of charge. ----------------------- Q3. Are these lessons suitable for beginners? A3. Yes. The lessons are suitable for beginners, and everyone is welcome to attend and benefit. ----------------------- Q4. Do you offer ḥifdh classes or Qur’an memorisation? A4. The Qur’an and Arabic Reading classes held on Tuesdays cater for all abilities, from learning the Arabic alphabet to memorising the Qur’an and mutūn. Be sure to check them out: https://t.me/masjidsahabah/2409 ----------------------- Q5. Will sisters be allowed to attend? A5. We currently do not have a dedicated facility for sisters, so unfortunately we are unable to accommodate sisters at this time. However, those who are unable to attend in person can listen to the lessons live via iMasjid. ----------------------- Q6. Do you intend to make provisions for sisters? A6. Yes. We hope to expand the masjid in the future so that sisters can have their own dedicated section. If this proves too costly, we will make use of the facilities we currently have and establish segregation using curtains. The main challenge with this arrangement is that we would have to share the same entrance. We also hope to hold sisters-only classes in the future, where the masjid would be open exclusively to sisters, allowing them to come together and benefit from the lessons and programmes. ----------------------- Q7. How can we help the masjid? A7. There are various ways you can support the masjid: - Attend the lessons and benefit from the services provided. - If you are unable to attend, direct others to the masjid and benefit from the lessons online. - Share and spread the masjid’s beneficial content. - Make duʿā’ for the project. - If you have skills in content creation or other useful areas, offer your services. - Provide physical assistance when needed. - Provide financial assistance.
