What Grieves You Today May Bring You Joy Tomorrow
Yesterday, a shirt was a cause of grief:
{وَجَاۤءُو عَلَىٰ قَمِیصِهِۦ بِدَمࣲ كَذِبࣲ}
“They brought his shirt with false blood on it.” [Surah Yūsuf: 18]
But today, it became a cause of joy:
{ٱذۡهَبُوا۟ بِقَمِیصِی هَـٰذَا فَأَلۡقُوهُ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِ أَبِی یَأۡتِ بَصِیرࣰا}
“Take this shirt of mine and place it over my father’s face, and he will regain his sight.” [Surah Yūsuf: 93]
