Ramadhan 1447 (Day 29)

Tonight Might Be The Final Night Of Ramadhan—And It May Be Laylat Al-Qadr Narrated by ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ((تَحرَّوا لَيلةَ القَدْرِ في الوَتْر من العَشرِ الأواخِرِ من رمضانَ)) “Search for the Night of Decree (Laylat Al-Qadr) in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan.” [Reported by Al-Bukhari, 2017] Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: ((الْتمِسوها في العَشر الأواخِر من رمضانَ؛ لَيلةَ القَدْر في تاسعةٍ تَبقَى، في سابعةٍ تَبقَى، في خامسةٍ تَبْقَى)) “Look for it in the last ten nights of Ramadhan—Laylat Al-Qadr—when nine nights have passed, when seven have passed, or when five have passed.” [Reported by Al-Bukhari, 2021) ʿUbādah ibn As-Ṣāmit said: “The Prophet (peace be upon him) came out to inform us about Laylat Al-Qadr, but two Muslim men began arguing. He said: ((خرَج النبيُّ صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّمَ ليُخبِرَنا بليلةِ القَدْر، فتَلاحَى رجُلانِ من المسلمين، فقال: خرجتُ لأُخبِرَكم بليلةِ القَدْر، فتَلاحَى فلانٌ وفلانٌ؛ فرُفِعتْ! وعسى أنْ يكونَ خيرًا لكم؛ فالْتمِسوها في التَّاسعةِ والسَّابعةِ والخامسةِ)) ‘I came out to tell you about Laylat Al-Qadr, but so-and-so and so-and-so argued, so its exact knowledge was taken away.
