Are Sins Multiplied on Laylat Al-Qadr Like Good Deeds? Question: Good deeds on Laylat Al-Qadr are better than those of a thousand months. Are sins also equal to the sins of a thousand months? Sheikh Rashad Adh-Dhali'ee: No, it is not like that. Such a claim would require evidence. However, committing a sin during a virtuous time or place is more serious and more shameful than committing it at an ordinary time. So the sin is indeed more serious, but to say that it equals the sins of a thousand months requires proof. The comparison of a thousand months applies to reward and good deeds, not to sins. Question: Does Laylat Al-Qadr end when the Fajr prayer is performed? Sheikh: Laylat Al-Qadr ends with the Fajr adhan. When Fajr adhan is called, Laylat Al-Qadr has ended. Allah says: “Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.” So as soon as dawn begins, a new day has started. #فوائد_رمضانية #Ramadan@masjidsahabah
