Q: On what religion is a child born?
يُولَدُ الْمَوْلُودُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ، وَالْفِطْرَةُ هِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ، وَالدَّلِيلُ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: ((كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ))
A child is born upon the fiṭrah, and the fiṭrah is Islam. Evidence: The Prophet ﷺ said: “Every child is born upon the fiṭrah.”
