A. The first obligation upon the servants is to affirm the Oneness of Allāh the Most High. Evidence: The Prophet ﷺ said to Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal when he sent him to Yemen: “Let the first thing to which you call them be the Oneness of Allāh, the Most High.”
